Rocking Leopard

Yes, I watch American Idol, and yes, I love this season.

I haven't written in a while, so I want this post to be about a rockstar who could pull-off just about anything. And that my fashionistas is Steven Tyler. This 63 year old rock legend really impressed me, I think he's the only guy I know who can pull-off a see through leopard print blouse and look rocknroll fierce! Not even Adam Lambert could make this happen for him!

The ever so rockin' Mr. Tyler steals J.Lo and Liv's thunder.
(Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Liv Tyler)

Love it!

Color Me Pink

I was going through my closet today and found a long lost friend.. my favorite Mango hot pink jersey top. I know sometimes we girls get caught up with recent purchases and rush moments, that we tend to forget the basic clothes we love.

We were reunited and it felt so good.

It's actually one of the most comfortable shirts I own. I decided to fix my mess of a closet and pair my jersey top with a Anna Sui jacket with flower embroidery, jeans from Forever 21 and heels from Parisian. Yes, I love Parisian!

Fooling around and chilling in Palms Country Club.

I love the detail on this jacket!!!

Have you found any old friends and treasures in your closet lately?

Chloe F/W 2011

Loose leg wear, leather and snakeskin is back for one of the chicest brands ever. I'm also loving the wide ribbon details! And the sheer tops and dresses make any outfit look elegant and sexy. Ugh, I'm still not over their Paraty bags.

Felt Like Gold Today

I wanted to feel luxury today so I wore my favorite (and a bit expensive) gold vintage cashmere top from my mom and paired it with harem pants from Bangkok, a camel vintage bag from my grandmother and my favorite pair of shoes from Alice + Olivia!

It's gonna be a busy day, so I hope to get it together and not get too stressed <3 good vibes all over today!
But just incase you're stressed and you wanna feel like a million bucks, wear something that will make you feel that way! Let the world know you're strong and still stylish haha

Have a great day!

Born This Way

Yes, Lady Gaga is stuck in my head. So I felt like funkin' it out and dance. Don't we all have those days where we just want to let the music take over and dance like no one's watching? Well, I felt eclectic and inspired today, so I put on my red wedges and played gaga on repeat.

"There's nothin wrong with lovin who you are"
She said, "'cause he made you perfect, babe"
"So hold your head up girl and you'll go far,
Listen to me when I say"

Don't hide yourself in regret
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track baby
I was born this way

What I was wearing:
Top - BEAT Clothing
Harem Pants - Topshop
Shades- Ray Bans
Red Wedges - from a bazaar in Rockwell

Hope you have a great day!

Fashion 360: Gerald Kilayko

Today, I'm lauching a segment called FASHION 360, where I feature clients who want a lifestyle and fashion make-over, to give them an opportunity to prepare for job opportunities, social situations and a 360 degree lifestyle change.

And now, I present to you... Gerald Kilayko. He recently graduated Marketing from Ryerson University in Canada and is back in Manila for a vacation, and to pursue a big job opportunity. So, what better way to help him than be part of Fashion 360!

We went shopping with Gerald in Rockwell, Makati to give him an idea of various brands that could work for him so that he won't go back to his usual loose shirt and jeans look. His taste is very simple, he prefers to wear a comfortable pair of jeans, a shirt and his favorite sneakers. There's nothing wrong with wanting that, (especially if you decide to paint a house or something then you can have that look, kidding) but why not make the simplest changes to change one's life right? A new job means a lot since it's the start of one's future, so why not make changes for the better? Yes, I sound like an excited little school girl receiving her first project, so without further adieu...

Here's his "before" look:

BEFORE

I decided to give him a more casual yet polished look. He now wears pants that actually fit (and not 2-3 sizes bigger), shirts that don't hang too loose on him, and a hot jacket that brings out the bad boy in him. He also  ditched the lenses for contacts, and I gave him a simple look for his hair.

The changes were actually really minimal, but I think it really made a difference! He looks more confident and ready to pursue his career.

AFTER

How good does he look right?? Well, that's a wrap guys! Hope you feel as good as I do :)

Gerald was wearing:
Black jacket from Zara
Basic Tee from Giordano
Gray striped polo from Abercrombie & Fitch
Gray jeans from Zara
Black Walk-ins from Vans

Til our next FASHION 360!
